Labor Law Poster Posting Requirements in Indiana

What are the laws concerning labor law posters that we need to post in our Indiana company?
There are a variety of posting requirements for small businesses and other employers around the country. In general, many of the posters that you will have to display are posters that concern federal Acts. As such, employers across the country in all states (not just Indiana) will have to display these posters, if the posters apply to the business.
Posting requirements actually vary by state. As such, not all employers are covered by the same statutes. The requirements will also vary from business to business. For example, if you have a small business that is actually not covered by the Family Medical Leave Act, then you do not have to display a poster concerning the Family Medical Leave Act. Here are the specific topics that need to be posted for Indiana:
- Minimum Wage
- Discrimination Notice
- Workers\\\’ Compensation
- Unemployment Insurance
- OSHA- Health and Safety Protection
- Child Labor Law
- Workforce Development Act
You are required to display these posters in a place that is visible to all employees, such as a break room. If the posters begin to show signs of wear or if they are removed, you must replace them immediately. You should also replace your posters as the Acts change.
The posters that the U.S. Department of Labor government may require you to post (if applicable to your business) include the following:
Job Safety and Health Protection (OSHA)
Equal Employment Opportunity
Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) (this is the minimum wage poster)
Employee Right for Workers with Disabilities
Your Rights Under the Family Medical Leave Act
Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act
Notice to All Employees Working on Federal or Federally Finances Construction Projects
Notice to Employees Working on Government Contracts (the Service Contract Act)
Notice: Employee Polygraph Protection Act
Notice to Migrant and Seasonal Worker Protection Act CB
