Accured vacation time not paid Arizona

Termination
Employee Warning Notice
Employee Final Warning Notice
Employee Resignation Form
Exit Interview Questionnaire
Separation Checklist

After I was terminated for misconduct I did not receive my accured vacation time.  I never signed my employee handbook which stated that if terminated accural time is forfited. Also on my paycheck stub it stated that I had 80 hours accured . They also shorted me one day of pay on my final check

Under Arizona law, the employer must pay a terminated worker within 3 days, or on the next regular payday, whichever occurs first.

Under both federal and Arizona law, the employee is entitled to payment for every day that he or she worked.

There is no Arizona law that requires employers to pay terminated workers for earned vacation time. This employee was aware of that policy because he received the employee handbook, even if he chose not to sign it. It’s childish to believe that not signing the employee handbook means you can make up your own rules.

I have worked 3 years and ll months and recently quit, giving notice. I was scheduled to take two weeks vacation in mid-September. Is my employer required to pay earned but unused vactation pay?
