I LIVE IN SALT LAKE CITY UTAH AND WAS JUST FIRED FROM MY JOB. I HAVE A WEEK’S VACATION ACCRUED. AM I ENTITLED TO THIS ALONG WITH MY LAST PAYCHECK?
According to the FAQs on the Utah Labor Commission website, employers are not required to pay terminated workers for any unearned vacation. If the employer has a policy or past practice of paying employees for unused vacation, then the Labor Commission will enforce that policy.
