Where does one apply for RITDI?
The best way for an employee to file for Temporary Disability Income in Rhode Island is online at: http://www.dlt.ri.gov/tdi/. Employees can also call 401-462-8420 to request a claim form, which can be filed by mail.

Can you collect TDI and Workmans comp. at the same time?
July 22nd, 2008 at 3:21 pm
No. The Rhode Island TDI is specifically for people who are not eligible for workers comp. Anyone who is collecting both is probably committing fraud. People who are abusing TDI can be reported to the RI Department of Labor & Training.
