What if the company changed their policy during the course of your employment to not pay out earned vacation time (previously they did pay it out upon separation) then can you still collect it if you leave?


In most cases, no. An Oklahoma employer has the right to change benefit policies — including vacation policies. As long as the employer informed workers in advance of the change, and enforces the policy without discrimination, there is no reason why an employer can’t change the vacation payout policy.
