If a salaried, bi-weekly paid, employee works 82 hrs and is also absent one full day (requesting VAC hrs), do I account for a full 80 hrs or do I account for 72 hrs worked and 8 hrs Vac?

Under most payroll systems, this would be 72 hours worked and 8 hours of vacation. Normally a salaried employees check shows 40 hours per week, regardless of the number actually worked.
