vacation pay

does michigan law require employers to pay their employees vacation and sick time?

No. There is currently no state in the union that requires an employer to offer paid vacations to workers. If an employer does offer this benefit, about 11 states require that the employee be paid for unused vacation time at termination.

Currently, only a couple of states require that employers offer paid sick time to employees. With the possible exception of California, they do not require that the employee be paid for unused sick leave upon termination.
