Due to the hot climate in Nevada do employers have to allow water at the work area?

The best practice in Human Resources is for employers to always allow employees to drink water at the work station. The only exception would be if the employee is working with delicate equipment that would be damaged by spilled liquids.

The OSHA regulations are more complex. They require that employers provide a safe working environment. In many cases, when employees work in high temperatures, the employer needs to provide water and frequent rest breaks to prevent heat stress or heat stroke. However, those requirements will vary with every work situation.
