How long does an employee have to turn in their FMLA paperwork after it has been given to them?

Under FMLA, the employer can define the timeline in which paperwork must be returned by the employee, unless a certification for a serious health condition is being requested, in which case, you would be required to allow 15 calendar days for return of the paperwork.
