Lodging

Can we require employees working out of town to share a hotel room with two beds? Or three employees share a room with two beds and a roll away bed?

Please remember that the time spent traveling for work is still subject to claims such as harassment and should be taken as seriously as a harassment claim in the office.  It might be a good cautionary measure on the employer’s part to spring for multiple rooms.

However, as long as they are same-sex coworkers, you can require them to share a hotel room.  The number of beds in the room is irrelevant (a bed for each employee would be assumed I’m sure or two per bed in the very least).
