We have an employee that is requesting intermittent leave for two diffrent qualifying health conditions. Can we ask her for medical certification from both her physicians? Also, is she eligible for just 12 weeks total or 12 weeks each for each condition?
Thank you.

Yes, you may require certification for any condition that the employee plans to take intermittent FMLA leave for. Additionally, she is entitled to a total of 12 weeks of FMLA in a 12-month period, regardless of how many FMLA-qualifying conditions she may use the leave for.
