FMLA vs. Intermittent FMLA

If an employee had taken FMLA for one month and then re-submits to take Intermittent FMLA will the time taken for FMLA be counted against the 480 hours for Intermittent?

An employee is entitled to receive only 12 weeks of unpaid FMLA leave over the course of a 12 month period. The employee can use the 12 weeks as either intermittent or full FMLA or a combination of both. An employee is allowed to take leave in blocks of time such as an hour, a half-day, a day, a week, four weeks or 12 weeks.
