i own fast-food restaurant in omaha nabraska have less than 15 employee do i have to pay maternity leave for my employe?

No, you do not. Nebraska does not have a state law requiring employers to offer pregnancy leave. On the federal front, neither the Pregnancy Discrimination Act nor the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) apply to employers with less than 15 or 50 employees respectively. Even if you were subject to the FMLA regulations, the law requires that employees with serious medical conditions, including pregnancy, be granted job-protected leaves of absence, but it does not require paid leaves for pregnancy or any other medical condition.
