Worked Hours

In the State of California, how many consecutive days can an employee work before he has to take a day off to rest? In other words, in a 30 day period, how many days off must an an the employer give the employee time to rest? Can you please provide the Labor Law Code and section where one can find and reference to? Thank you.

California Labor Code 550-554 addresses the hours of rest law. Labor Code Section 551 provides that “every person employed in any occupation of labor is entitled to one day’s rest therefrom in seven.”
