Sample Letter

Our Hampden Township location has closed. We have another location in Camp Hill where we can offer our employees a position but not until Sept. 1st. How do I let them know that this will definitely be offered? Thank you

It’s difficult to provide a detailed letter without knowing the specifics of the situation but here is a sample:

Dear (Employee’s Name),

As you’re aware our Hampden Township location has closed. Fortunately, as of September 1, 2015 we will have positions available at our Camp Hill location. We welcome you to submit your interest for these openings by (calling, emailing, applying etc). Please inform us of your interest by (date) so we can appropriately staff this location.

Please call us with any questions at (number).

We appreciate your continued commitment and loyalty to XYZ Company.

Thank You,

XYZ Company

Before you guarantee positions to anyone, be certain that such positions will absolutely be available. If you have different job titles/shifts available, feel free to list them in the letters. HTH!
